Why I bought the entire Affinity Suite

If you are reading my blog for a while you most probably know by now that I'm a huge fan of printables or, in general, digital products you can sell over and over again. 
And yes, I'm not getting tired telling anyone to create printables, svg files or graphic sets to sell them over and over again because I believe that this is one possible way to success.
I sell digital products since 2008, more specifically, I have sold digital scrapbooking kits since 2008 bevor I moved on somewhere in 2020 to finally sell to a broader group of people. That was when I started creating printables.

That doesn't mean that I don't like scrapbooking anymore. But again, I got a bit more specific: I enjoy memory keeping. That means I have a basic planner where I write about my day, make notes, decorate it with stickers and, even better, add some photos :-). I love it. It's my hobby. 

I also enjoy creating wall art. Or teaching material (I mean, that's natural since I'm a teacher somehow 😉 ). I also enjoy creating games for kids and adults, affirmation cards and even books. You name it and I most probably love to design and create it!

Most probably you are already thinking: How can she create all this with just Affinity Designer?
The answer is: I can't ;-). And that's why I bought the entire Affinity Designer Suite.

The Affinity Suite vs. Adobe's Creative Cloud

I'm an Adobe-Girl since the beginning of the 2000s - first on my Windows computer and now on my Mac. I don't think that there was a time when I didn't have Adobe installed - and I still have. And I still have the Creative Cloud. But then I figured that a very good reason against Adobe's Creative Cloud is its monthly subscription. 
Not anyone wants to pay a good amount of money every month to use a specific software. Sure, it's worth it because you can use any Adobe program on the planet. But still - if you maybe start designing or creating digital products in general there are two problems: First the pressure that you need to quickly get results to start selling because you are paying monthly. And second there is a steep learning curve so it naturally takes some time until you can handle Adobe's programs and therefore it will take time bevor you get the money for the monthly subscription back by selling your own printables.

There is a solution though. And it's called the Affinity Suite sold by Serif.I don't wanna argue which programs (Adobe or Affinity) are better. There are good reasons for each. But if I tell you to start a Printable Business and you are really new to all this I definitely should recommend the Affinity Suite to you.

Why do I recommend the entire Affinity Suite?

First of all: It's one price for all three apps - for Windows, Mac and the iPad. So there is no good reason to miss out here especially since it's much cheaper to buy everything at once and not one after the other.
And: You might not want to create only Printables in future. Maybe you also want to edit your photos and, even a better reason, you might want to put all your printables into a book and sell them on Amazon. And the latest at this point you'll be thankful because then you also have Affinity Publisher which is similar to Adobe's Indesign and it allows you to create an entire book from your printables. 

I recently created a Dino Coloring book. First I created printables (you can find them in my store) and then I created a paperback and I sell it on Amazon :D. To try it out I have used Affinity Publisher and you see - it works just great!

Easy peasy! Yes, there is a learning curve but it's absolutely doable.
