The 26 pages of alphabet practice come in A4 format (also resizable to 8.5 by 11 inch) with lots of space to trace and write the words. There are long and short words for students to try out. Then students move to independently writing letters on the provided lines.
These alphabet practice pages with words are perfect for morning work, independent practice, small group instruction, centers, early finisher activities or homework. An easy-to-use, NO PREP, option for working on writing words.
Suggestions for Use:
Dedicate some time of your weekly classroom instruction to word formation. Teach one letter at a time. Introduce the letter and the steps for creating it. Create the letter using play-dough, write the letter on whiteboards, in the air, on the tablet… the sky is the limit. After students have had a day (or longer) to explore proper letter formation in a kinesthetic way, revisit the letter and teach them how to create it on lined paper. And once you have taught them all letters let them write some words! Nothing is more rewarding than being able to write your own first words.
Each page in this packet has enough space to train the words properly.
