How to Draw a Penguin for your Bullet Journal's Cover Page
In this tutorial, I will show you simple steps on how to draw a penguin. Here is an overview what you'll learn in the video. Just click on the links below and you automatically go to that minute in the video tutorial.
If in case you need help drawing the penguin, you can always go to our store and there you will find this cute bird. You can download, print, and glue it into your bullet journal, or use a graphite paper to transfer it to your page.
If you decide to draw your own penguin, here's what you need. Basically, you just need your Bullet Journal, a pencil, and some colours.
Let's Start: Sketch the Penguin
First of all, use your pencil to sketch the penguin. When I sketch, I usually break it down into geometrical shapes. Here, I draw an oval first - that's the body, then I draw the other parts using a series of curves.
Outline the Drawing
After that, use your fineliner to outline your drawing. This makes the penguin bold. Then, rub off any traces of pencil.
Colour the Penguin
Next, colour the penguin. Use your black Stabilo pen to fill in the flippers.
Also, fill in the head including the back.
Use an orange shade of mildliner to colour the beak and the feet of the penguin. You can use any colouring material that you have, of course.
Write your heading on top and you're done! I write "Hello December" because it's for my December Cover Page, but you are free to use it to any spread you want to decorate.
