Your bullet journal is so helpful when you write and set things that you want to achieve. Writing down your goals allows you to focus and hold yourself accountable for achieving those goals.
The best thing about bullet journaling is that you can set goals for the year, month, week, and even day.
In this tutorial, I'll show you how to create your monthly spread which is essential to have an overview of the entire month.
How to Create an October Monthly Halloween Spread
Just like our other tutorials, this one is very easy to follow. Draw with me as I guide you step-by-step how to create your October Monthly Halloween Spread.
You can always click on the links below if you want to jump on that part of the video.
Here's what you need:
Let's Start Scribing the Spread
Use your pencil to scribe or draft your monthly spread. It's better to use a pencil for this step so you can easily rub off whenever you make a mistake. With the help of your set square, you can able to scribe straight lines.
Scribe a spread with 3 wide columns and 2 narrow columns after the first wide column. That's a total of 5 columns.
Drawing the Spooky Heading
After you write the days of the weeks and the dates in your spread, you can now write the heading. Because we are doing an October monthly spread, we write October as the heading,
After that, you can draw your spider web with a cute spider at the left upper corner or wherever you want to place it.
Add some bats, pumpkins, and spooky faces.
Create the October Calendar
Here, I draw a bold arrow and I use my calendar stamps to create the October calendar. You don't have to do this if you don't have calendar stamps. You can just write it using your fine liner or a pencil.
Make your Heading and Drawings Bolder
Use your stabilo pen and go over your heading and drawings. Make them bolder and spooky.
Highlight the Weekends
Colour the weekends so you can easily jump from week to week.
This Monthly Spread for October is really flexible. You can keep the setup but adapt e.g. the Doodles to your needs.
