Slumdog Millionaire, 3 Idiots, Life of Pi and Chennai Express. They are just a few examples of how India became popular and attractive around the world in the recent years. Surprisingly, India has aroused the curiosity of not just the younger set of generations but even the older ones, in fact, India’s Ministry of Tourism reported that they have gained an influx of tourists who visited the country from 2011 to 2013. So where does this global hype comes from? The increasing trend of anything that has the flavour of India is often attributed to the country’s rich culture and topographic attractions such as the Taj Mahal. And here is a bunch of photography tips that you can still use even when it’s not really summer:
– If you want to capture a “Magical Moment” of an important day, the best timing for outdoor photography would have to happen during dawn and dusk. Check the news for weather updates on the exact time of Sunrise and Sunset in order to get the optimal angles and perspective of the sun.
– Get your gadgets ready the night before you intend to shoot. That means packing the right lenses and other accessories so you can just grab your bag and go right away. This also gives you enough time to charge your batteries, clean up your memory cards and clean your lenses. You wouldn’t want to miss important shots just because your camera goes out of power or your memory card gets full. If you must, bring extra batteries and memory card.
– For fast paced actions, learn to use the burst or continuous shooting mode in your camera. This will surely help you capture subjects in successive motion like the sun setting on the horizon.
– To get a good depth of field without sweat, set the Aperture priority on your camera mode dial. This can be very helpful when photographing landscapes such that your shutter speed will not mess up your photos because of poor exposure.
Just follow the tips we’ve mentioned and you’ll surely come out with a fantastic photo collection of your fall digital scrapbook.
