  2. Here is my layout for this challenge. I found a "what is love" quote on the internet and pasted it into wordle to generate the word cloud --- very cool idea!! The photos were slides that I recently scanned taken by my parents on their honeymoon to Florida in 1958.

    Thanks for this challenge!!

  9. This was fun! I really had a great time playing at Wordle. After I got one I really liked, I used it as a template and changed fonts to this Alaskan Nights, which also let me have a transparent background and a cleaner image. http://www.digidesignresort.com/gall...p?i=10223&c=48

Journaling reads: Oh, yes, this snow event made headlines! As the Enterprise Ledger put it:

Coffee County residents woke up on Friday morning to see the beginning of winter snow that covered the area during the day. The area had not seen several inches of snow since March of 1993. The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning Thursday and reported that the threat of snow for much of Alabama was growing with most south Alabama residents seeing 2 to 4-inches of snow. Official decisions were made to close all schools in the county, county courthouses and government offices. Gov. Bob Riley said state government agencies closed Friday with the exceptions of critical essential response staff.

Measuring snowfall amounts accumulated during the day Friday with temperatures starting out Friday morning around 35 degrees, but falling as the morning progressed and into the evening hours, weather conditions worsened.

In other headlines around the country, it was noted that there was measurable snow in 49 of the 50 states, perhaps for the first time ever. Hawaii was the sole exception.

While Amber, Tanya & Jerry enjoyed the snow (or not!), we down here in St. Petersburg, just tried to stay warm, while their pretty snow changed to cold rain.
